About John

John brings a lifetime of experience and passion for the outdoors to his work in real estate and adventure travel. Originally from Winona, Minnesota, John moved to Missoula, Montana in 1976 to attend the University of Montana, where he combined his studies with work as a professional guide in Montana and Alaska. Following graduation, he continued his guiding career in Montana and spent seven years guiding and managing a lodge in Alaska, honing his skills in hospitality, logistics, and wilderness management. John later transitioned his guiding expertise into an international booking agency, specializing in adventure travel and fly fishing trips around the world. In addition, he facilitates wilderness wellness trips, focusing on conflict resolution, communication, and personal and professional growth. A lifelong outdoorsman, John enjoys fishing, skiing, bow hunting, hiking, rafting, mountain biking, scuba diving, and introducing both children and adults to the beauty and wonder of nature. With extensive continuing education in real estate-related fields and a deep knowledge of the outdoors, John brings a unique blend of expertise, passion, and professionalism to every client and adventure he undertakes.
